RULES FOR ADMISSION

  1. The college does not admit or re-admit the following categories of those students:

    • Who have failed in University Examination.

    • Who have failed to appear in University Examination for any reason including shortage of attendance.

    • Whose results were withheld on account of the use of unfair means.

  2. All applicant seeking admission to the college should read the Academic Brochure carefully.

  3. All applications will be accepted in the college on working days between 10:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The last date and time for submission of application forms is notified separately.

  4. In case a candidate wishes to apply to more than one programme of study, separate application forms are to be used for each course.

  5. Once a decision on a candidate’s application for admission is taken, the college will not entertain any personal representation, correspondence or telephonic enquiries on the subject.

  6. Admissions are made on merit basis. Admission to a programme will be closed as soon as the seats are filled. Information in this regard will be notified on the Institute notice board.

  7. For admission to the first year of the degree programme to this institute, a candidate’s age should be at least 17 years before the first day of October in the year in which he/she seeks admission.

  8. In case the candidate is selected for admission, originals of the following certificates along with attested copies will have to be submitted to the Institute at the time of admission.

    • A Character Certificate from the Head of the school last attended.

    • A matriculation certificate for confirmation of date of birth.

    • Provisional Certificate of the last examination passed.

    • A list of marks obtained in each subject at the last examination passed.

    • Four passport size colored photographs of the students (only two of which should be attested by a Gazetted Officer) and two by parent/guardian.

  9. Applicant admitted to the institute will have to deposit the prescribed fee within the period specified in the admission notice. Failure to do so will automatically lead to cancellation of admission.

  10. Forms incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.

  11. Seeking admission on the basis of misrepresentation by submitting false certificates/documents is unlawful and will lead to cancellation of admission.

  12. The Institute reserves the right to refuse admission to any student without assigning any reason thereof.
